This is my 2006 Mazdaspeed6. I picked it up in April 2012 with 30k miles from the original owner bone stock. 

The AWD Mazdaspeed6 was only made in 2006 and 2007 with about 10k ever made. The car was a joint project between Ford and Mazda and was Ford's research platform for the new MZR 2.3L direct injected turbocharged engine. 

This engine is the forefather of all of Ford's Ecoboost engines and has a lot in common with the 2.3L Ecoboost engine in the new 2015 Ford Mustang.

The car started out around 230whp/235wtq from the factory in a 3,600# car. From a clean stock platform, the car now hits 350whp/340wtq (400+ bhp!) with a host of mods. Not too shabby. The engine died at 79k miles and was replaced with a brand new factory fresh long block straight from Hiroshima Japan.

The car also has Bilstein struts, H&R springs, Brembo BBK, upgraded motor and rear diff mounts. It rides on 235/40 Nitto Neo Gens on Evo X GSR wheels.
