There are single tracks, jeep roads, and fire roads for every purpose. Level, rollers, desert mountains with amazing bowls of wildflowers, forested mountain trails that look down on multiple mountain lakes at once, included the best, Lake Tahoe. A short drive into California gets beautiful runs on canopied single track along the side hills. It is a year round sport and races of all distances abound.
The only thing better than the running is the welcoming and friendly community of trail runners. They accommodate everyone from recreational runners to powerhouse 100 milers.
